Who we are

At Galenus Counseling, we believe that profound change begins with a compassionate, evidence-based approach to the human experience. Founded by Pedro Inoa, MSW, LCSW, our practice is dedicated to helping adults navigate the complexities of mental health with resilience, clarity, and purpose.

Our Clinical Foundation

With over 15 years of experience in clinical social work and program management, our foundation is built on a deep commitment to serving diverse and at-risk populations. Our founder’s background includes extensive work in crisis intervention, homelessness advocacy, and successful community-based transitions. This history of service informs our trauma-informed and culturally responsive framework today.

Our Specialized Mission

We specialize in the treatment of adult anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery. By integrating proven modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), we move beyond surface-level symptoms to address the root causes of maladaptive behaviors.

A Global Bridge to Growth

Galenus Counseling is unique in its dual-expertise: we bridge the gap between clinical psychotherapy and global life coaching. We empower our clients not only to heal from the past but to architect their future through structured, SMART goal-oriented frameworks.

Our Commitment to You

  • Clinical Excellence: Licensed in Florida and Texas , we maintain the highest standards of HIPAA and state-mandated confidentiality.

Bilingual Accessibility: We are a fully bilingual and bi-literate practice, providing services in both English and Spanish.

  • Immersive Support: Whether through intermittent care or our high-frequency intensives, we provide the "containment" and expertise necessary for meaningful, lasting transformation.
